Mr Dikedemma Odimegwu Utoh is a civil engineering and project management professional with eighteen years of experience in the design, construction, operations, maintenance and management of projects within the civil and related engineering disciplines. He is passionate about development work and believes it his duty to contribute to the alleviation of poverty among his fellow citizens. He currently serves as the Project Manager at BNTF Guyana, after working at the organisation for eight years as a Project Engineer. Prior to joining BNTF in 2009, Mr Utoh worked as a Senior Civil Engineer at Cheddi Jagan International Airport Corporation for several years. He also holds three years of experience as a Project Officer/Engineer at SIMAP Agency (Social Impact Amelioration Programme).
Mr Utoh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Civil), and Diploma in Technology (Civil Engineering) from the University of Guyana. He also has a Diploma in Project Management from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM).
Additionally, he is a member of the Guyana Association of Professional Engineers (GAPE), member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), inclusive of the Southern Caribbean Chapter (SCC), and an associate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Mr Utoh, who hails from Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara, is Afro-Guyanese, with a Nigerian father and Guyanese mother.
